In order to receive full credit for the introduction page students must:
write a paragraph with at least 5 sentences and include 1 picture that is relevant to the overall theme of the project.
Paragraph should:
explain that US Government was founded upon certain political principles such as democracy, republicanism, natural rights, separation of powers, and individual rights
make the claim that these political principles were not invented by our founding fathers, but were borrowed from past political traditions.
outline the 6 political traditions and thinkers that have acted as a foundation for modern US government. These include Ancient Greece and Rome, Judeo-Christian Heritage, John Locke, Charles de Montesquieu, and William Blackstone.
